'Tis the Season to Ho Ho Ho

This is post is part 2 of some events that have been organised across Glasgow and Ayrshire to help you all have yourself a merry little Christmas!  If you missed my last post, check that out for some festive date ideas and Christmas night out inspiration!  For the Christmas Lovers – Christmas Markets in Glasgow, Kilmarnock and Edinburgh While the iconic Christmas market in Glasgow's George Square has been cancelled this year, the smaller one at St Enoch’s Centre is still going ahead with popular stalls including Mrs Puller’s candied nuts and Belgian treats and the Ranch Bar from the George Square Market. Running from 21st November to 23rd December. Kilmarnock is hosting its very first Christmas market in the new St Marnock Square, including market stalls, street food and entertainment. This market is only running on the 11th of December from 10am-4pm Finally, if you’re keen on travelling a bit further afield for some festivities, my personal favourite has to be the Edinburgh Christ

'Tis the Season to be Merry and Bright

Now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are over, I think it’s finally time to start talking about the most wonderful time of the year – Christmas! This post is part 1 of 2 of some of the best events in Ayrshire and Glasgow to bring us all a bit of Christmas cheer. Another post highlighting more events will be posted soon.  For the Friends – Bongo's Bingo Glasgow presents Winter Wonderland  Running on the 1st, 2nd ,8th, 9th, 15th and 30th of December Anyone who’s been to Bongo’s Bingo can tell you it is an unforgettable night, complete with drinks, pals, karaoke classics and plenty of dancing. That’s why I’m recommending their Winter Wonderland event as the perfect Christmas night out with your friends. 'Tis the Season to Sparkle

We’re now at the point between Halloween and Christmas where the cold weather and dark nights can leave us all feeling a little bit miserable. Don’t worry though - this blog post is all about some local events that have been organised to help light up the dark nights ahead of us.  Bonfire Night Events  There are too many different local fireworks displays to discuss in detail in this post, however, I have listed some of the confirmed professional displays below. This means that if you’re interested, you can easily pick the best location for you. Please note that several of these events do require pre-booking and some may be subject to Covid-19 guidelines, so I strongly recommend checking either the website or Facebook page for the firework display.
